The Bugene Youth Vocational Training Centre (BYVTC) is located in rural area of Karagwe District 2 km from Omurushaka centre
was started in 1983 with the vision  of supporting Primary School The Bugene Youth Vocational Training Centre (BYVTC) is located in rural area of Karagwe District 2 km from Omurushaka centre

was started in 1983 with the vision  of supporting Primary School seven leavers not selected to join secondary education to find a means of livelihood.
Currently the centre is operating under the new  perspective of Youth Innovation Hub ( YIH) to support the Tanzania Government by promoting  Labour force on Industrialisation to catapult the country into a middle class economy. BYVTC  under new modern awareness to the community on employable and livelihood skills has to provide services to the youth that shall promote the Government industrialisation Agenda, support in the poverty reduction and technological  advancement within the community. Advantage to this is that the Government has revised vocational education training system that allows learned to upgrade the highest levels which has made it more attractive to innovation hub initiatives.
The centre has basic infrstructures and managed by experiences directors.
As on of the innovation move the centre has established an Environmental Conservation/protection project of Biomas Charcoal Briquettes production and cooking stoves for the  community and institutions. This will support  the Government Environmental policy of not using firewood or wood charoal as cooking energy. “One ton of Charcoal briquettes saves 80 trees of 3 cubic meter of 10 yeas  old”.
More innovative  services  shall be established as funds avail.
